Butler County Treasurer Nancy Nix, appears in the open of the 2009 Butler County United Way campaign video written and produced by Murray Multimedia Resources. The video features three key United Way success stories and was shot in many Butler County locations including Hamilton, Fairfield and West Chester and Liberty Townships.  West Chester Medical Center and First Financial Bank sponsored the video along with Murray Multimedia Resources.  View the full video or each of the stories at  www.youtube.com/watch?v=7rjnNTlZgV8 .

Ohio Recorders' Association video in the Ohio State House

Murray Multimedia Resources recently taped a scene of a documentary style video for the Ohio Recorders' Association at the Ohio State House.  The Capital Rotunda was a pretty awesome place to shoot video.  Permission to shoot the scenes for the video was granted by application through contact with Gregg Dodd, Deputy Director, Communication, Marketing and Events.  The application, and Instructions on how to apply, are available at www.ohiostatehouse.org under events.  One note before you start; only non-profit organizations may apply and the fee is $50.

The Importance of Advertising in a Down Economy

One of the first things that happen in a down economy is that companies begin to slash money out of their budgets wherever possible.  Unfortunately for many businesses, one of the first areas that they begin to cut money from is their lifeline:  the marketing and advertising budget.  While this may seem like an easy place to save some quick dollars, it can actually be one of the worst places that a company can select to cut funding in order to survive long term.  Cutting your advertising takes a bad situation and makes it worse.  When your business drops and you stop telling your unique story to customers, you set yourself up for failure.
