Butler Tech wins Telly Award

Murray Multimedia Resources, LLC recently won two Telly Awards for a 30-second commercial produced for Butler Technology and Career Development Schools. Telly Awards are given annually for outstanding TV commercials and programs submitted from the United States and many foreign countries. This year's 27th Annual Telly Award winners were selected from over 12,000 entries. The winning Murray Multimedia Resources, LLC commercial spotlights the advantages of earning course credits towards a high school diploma by using Butler Tech's online classes.

Michael Murray wrote, produced and directed the commercial using multiple locations in the West Chester area. Mr. Murray said, "It was a great project! We used actors from the Butler Tech Options Academy as well as Lakota High School students. I was amazed at the high quality of professional talent available at both schools." The commercial won a Silver Telly (the highest honor) in the "Low Budget" category and a Bronze Telly (for outstanding achievement) in the "Schools/Colleges/Universities" category. "Here's proof that you can produce nationally recognized work without spending thousands of dollars," Mr. Murray states.

Michael Murray is a video producer/director and still photographer. His company, Murray Multimedia Resources, LLC has been in business for eight years and specializes in corporate and commercial productions for broadcast, DVD, the web and print. Mr. Murray started in the television production business at a CBS affiliate, was a producer/director at a Young & Rubicam advertising agency and ran the Multimedia division of AT&T/NCR in Dayton. Clients include Dell Computer, First Financial Bank, Mercy Health Partners, Sasha Corporation, the Butler County United Way and Appearance Plus Cleaners. With over 30 years of extensive experience in film, video and audio production, Mr. Murray's work has been seen in over 130 countries.
