Butler County United Way “Live United” Video Wins 2009 Telly Award
Hamilton, Ohio: Butler County United Way has won a national Telly Award for their 2008 corporate video, “Live United.” The Telly Awards honor outstanding local, regional and national commercials and programs as well as video and film productions. Award recipients were selected from over 15,000 entries. The winning video was produced and directed by Mike Murray of Murray Multimedia Resources, LLC and sponsored by Graydon Head. Maureen Noe, President/CEO of Butler County United Way said, “When you work with an outstanding producer/director, have compassionate stories to tell by community volunteers who LIVE UNITED every day, we knew we had, on a local level, an award winning result. However, to receive national recognition could not be possible without the professional expertise of Murray Multimedia Resources.”
The “Live United” video won a Bronze Telly in the ‘Charitable/Not-for-profit’ category. This video illustrates the positive impact a community has when people “Give, Advocate and Volunteer” for United Way and brings the “Live United” theme to life. “I have worked with the Butler County United Way for years, as a volunteer and as a producer/director. United Way programs make a real difference in the lives of recipients, and Butler County United Way personnel and volunteers helped me effectively tell their story,” said Murray. This is the second time in three years a Murray Multimedia Resources video for Butler County United Way has received a Telly Award.
The Butler County United Way focus is on helping youth grow into successful adults and on residents becoming self-sufficient. Local law firm, Graydon Head, sponsored the video. “It's nice to know that the video we sponsored not only helped the important mission of Butler County United Way, but that the outstanding work of Murray Multimedia Resources has been recognized with such a prestigious award,” Chris Worrell said.
